FAREWELL.....
They say that all good things eventually come to an end and it is with much regret the we announce that after seven years as one of the most popular bluegrass bands in Idaho, the Buckhorn Mountain Boys are dis-banding.
Due to the passing of our band leader (Al Jacksons)wife, Kathy this past December, he is for personal reasons relocating and moving back to Oregon. Due to the band's break-up, we will be conducting our "Farewell Tour" throughout the month of March with our final performance on April 11th.
The last several years have been a great opportunity for us as we have accomplished a number of things and help put Idaho on the bluegrass map. We have had the pleasure of meeting and performing with some of todays bluegrass music greats such as Del McCoury, Doyle Lawson, Cherryholmes and many others. We wish all of the other local bands the best and hope that you meet with the success that we have had the pleasure of achieving.
